Before You Book — Important Information

Please review this information before scheduling your lesson or road test. Requirements must be met before booking.

When Booking Online

Please book the appointment under the name of the person who will be taking the driving lesson.

Student Responsibility

I understand that learning the rules, laws, signs, and theory of driving is my responsibility. I confirm that I have read the Pennsylvania Driver’s Manual and completed the chapter tests, rather than relying only on practice test apps.

AW Driving School provides behind-the-wheel training to help me apply this knowledge. I understand that if I am not properly prepared, I may require additional training hours.

Required at Every Lesson & Test

• You must bring your valid Pennsylvania Learner’s Permit to every lesson and exam
• A physical permit is required — photos on your phone are not accepted

Permit Verification

Before scheduling your test:

• Email a copy of your permit to: AWDrivingSchool@gmail.com
• Include your full name of client taking the service

OR

• Text a photo to: 833-292-4185 (Standard texting rates apply)

Pickup & Drop-Off Requirements

For Road Test Services (No Pickup):

• You must meet at our facility for:
  • Road Test Only
  • 30-Minute Lesson + Road Test
  • We do not provide pickup for these services

For Driving Lesson Packages (3, 6, 9, 12 Hours):

• Pickup is included for regular lessons
• You must meet at our facility for your test prep and road test

Important Requirements:

• You must have your valid permit at the time of pickup or appointment
• If your permit is not present, the lesson or test cannot be completed
• A $60 reschedule fee will apply

Eligibility Date

• Your test cannot be scheduled before the eligibility date on your permit
• This is the earliest date you are legally allowed to take your test

If You Are Under 18

• A parent or guardian must be present at the time of your test
• If unavailable, a notarized DL-180C form is required

Cancellation Policy

• Changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a $60 fee

Permit Restrictions

• Medical or interlock permits are not accepted
• These tests must be completed at a PennDOT facility

Booking a Lesson Package

• Only book your first lesson online
• We will contact you to schedule the remaining lessons
